Ontic Chatsworth seeks a Trade Compliance Specialist to support compliant international trade across our operations. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to manage licensing, classifications, screenings, and recordkeeping, reporting to the International Trade Compliance Lead.

You will handle day-to-day compliance activities and detailed regulatory requirements to help Ontic operate globally in aerospace markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Trade Compliance experience, including preparing EAR and ITAR license applications.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and FTR regulations.
• Foundational AES/EEI filing experience is required.
• Knowledge of import regulations and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years can be substituted.
• Customs broker credentials are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support import/export activities per government regulations and Ontic policies.
• Prepare licensing applications through SNAP-R and DECCS, maintain records.
• Review export/import documents for accuracy and compliance (EEI/AES).
• Conduct denied party screenings and travel/visitor vetting.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure proper documentation.
• Determine Schedule B, HTS, ECCN, USML classifications with rationale.
