Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Kansas (a Boeing subsidiary) seeks a skilled welder/fabricator to plan, weld, inspect, and assemble a variety of tools and components. The role requires reading engineering drawings, following CAD models, and achieving AWS certification standards.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, sequence and perform tasks to weld, fabricate, inspect and repair tools.
• Operate fabrication equipment and machine tools to fabricate tools with various alloys and metals.
• Read engineering drawings, CAD models and tool design manuals to accomplish work requirements.
• Maintain AWS certifications and pass eye exams as required.
• Perform TIG welding and other welding processes to fabricate and assemble tools.
