Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a fabrication technician to support Spirit Commercial activities within Boeing’s broader ecosystem.

You will fabricate components from blueprints, deburr, form, cut and inspect parts using hand and power tools, and document measurements to ensure conformance with engineering intent. The role is union-represented, with pay starting at $23.66/hour and potential to reach up to $39.32/hour under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work any shift, including 2nd shift.
• Experience using a variety of power and hand tools on projects.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components from blueprints, drawings and templates.
• Deburr, bend, route, form, cut, shear and measure parts.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all equipment safely.
• Inspect parts with calipers and other precision tools for conformance.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and document results.
• Support teammates and adhere to safety and quality standards.
