Job summary

Visioneering is a leading aerospace tooling and components manufacturer established in 1953. The Tool Builder is responsible for setting up and operating a range of machines, lifting heavy loads, and upholding stringent safety rules in a precision manufacturing environment.

The role requires blueprint reading, tool design interpretation, and teamwork in a stable, growth-oriented company. Opportunities for career development and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Requires reading complex blueprints and interpreting specifications.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain housekeeping.
• Experience with shop equipment and tooling in aerospace or similar.
• Team-oriented with strong communication.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate cranes.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, sketches, and specifications using tools and machines.
• Review engineering information to determine operations and fabricate tools.
• Print BOM and SOW readings.
• Install dowels and operate Bridgeport and surface grinder.
• Deburring, painting prep, stenciling and ID of materials.
• Operate hi-low and overhead crane.
• Meet production and quality goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• All other duties as assigned.
