Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled machinist to lay out, fabricate, assemble, and repair jigs, fixtures, forms, templates, and tooling used in aerospace tooling. The role requires reading blueprints and MBD models to plan tooling layouts.

You will operate lathes, Bridgeport, grinders, and related shop equipment, set up tooling assemblies, ensure conformance with specs, and maintain safety and quality systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; machine tool certificate is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading preferred.
• Experience using personal industrial tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Examine blueprints or MBD models to plan tooling layouts.
• Layout dimensions and reference points using measuring tools.
• Set up and operate lathes, Bridgeport, grinders, and related equipment.
• Assemble tooling components and verify conformance with specifications.
• Repair or rework tools as needed.
• Possibly draw sketches and prepare detailed fabrication instructions.
