Ascent Aerospace, based in the United States, seeks a cost estimator to forecast labor and material costs for tooling projects in aerospace. You will use designs, CAD models, and specifications to produce full cost estimates for design, manufacture, and installation, communicating clearly with management, customers, and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years in aerospace manufacturing or tooling costing, an engineering degree, strong GD&T, CAD interpretation, and Excel proficiency.

Qualificações

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Management.
• 3–7+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, tooling, or cost estimating.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models and understand cost impact.

Responsabilidades

• Use models, drawings, and specifications to determine labor, material, and outsourcing estimates for tooling.
• Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and specs to determine tooling requirements and cost impact.
• Breakdown tools to develop a manufacturing plan and estimating labor hours across all processes.
