Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in aerospace manufacturing; machining in 3-Axis, 4-Axis and 5-Axis.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and GD&T; knowledge of CAD/CAM is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and cost estimation processes.
• Strong communication, time management and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to understand the project.
• Determine production factors influencing cost of products or services.
• Prepare material and cost estimates for products or services.
• Create labor estimates for projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Manage bids from vendors and contractors.
• Use bid data to prepare detailed cost analyses.
• Present prepared estimates to management.
• Perform related duties to ensure efficient operations at Harlow Aerostructures LLC.
