Job summary

Safran is seeking a Cascade Tool Prep operator for the 1st shift in Marysville, WA. This role supports the Cascade Tool Prep department through demand-relief, deflashing, sandblasting, and organizing mandrels to ensure on-time production.

Prior experience in manufacturing and with hand tools is preferred, along with the ability to read blueprints and manufacturing orders. Proficiency in MS Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1 year of stable employment history preferred.
• Experience with Hand Tools or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Computer skills: Familiarity with Microsoft products.
• Ability to read engineering blue prints and/or manufacturing orders is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cascade tool prep is a multi-functional department. Tool prep operators work on the demand-rel process, deflashing process, sandblasting, cleaning and organizing mandrels and part-marking cascades as needed to maintain schedule adherence.
