Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters in Milton, FL is seeking a Tool Room Coordinator to manage tool inventory, ensure calibration compliance, and generate RDAs/POs. The role supports repair stations and ground equipment programs in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will coordinate with QC, Avionics, and Overhaul teams, maintain safety and hygiene of the tool room, and drive tool lifecycle processes across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years experience in materials and logistics management.
• Proficiency with SAP, MS Office/Access and Tool Control software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control tools flow between tool room, hangar, and back shops using tracking software.
• Manage tools calibration and repair in collaboration with QC, Avionics, Overhaul.
• Generate RDA and inter-company PO for tools, calibration, repairs and investments.
• Tool inspection and certification; create tool kits; repair tools for customer support, engineering, training, facilities and related teams.
• Manage broken, unserviceable, and quarantine tools.
• Order and receive hazmat, consumables and hardware as needed.
• Track calibration and load tests for jigs, fixtures, and lifting devices.
• Support AWPC FAA and DCMA audits.
• Track tools rented to customers and service centers.
• Oversee hazardous waste accumulation points and vendor disposal.
• Organize and maintain GSE OEM technical publications.
• Forklift certified.

JOB TITLE

Manage tool inventory and tool room making sure tools are available for the shop and that repairs and calibrations are up to date. Generates RDA's and PO's. Maintains control of all tools for the Repair Station. Maintain a clean & organized tool room area. Manage and maintain Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and perform periodic calendar inspeciton/maintenance.
