Job summary

Barnes Aerospace MRO division is seeking a TIG Welder. The ideal candidate will partner with division leaders to implement processes to grow the business and drive cost reduction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of TIG welding in production or repair, preferably aerospace.
• Experience welding exotic metals.
• Read and interpret operation sheets and follow complex instructions.
• Able to lift up to 40lbs occasionally.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld aircraft component parts with thicknesses from .015 to .120.
• Work from drawings, sketches, templates and patterns.
• Subject to process and final inspection and testing.
• Complete paperwork to track parts through process.
• Perform repetitive welding operations on standard weldments.
• Perform other duties as required.
