Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC (NSS) seeks a welder to perform arc and TIG welds at Stennis Space Center, MS. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and weld iron, steel, aluminum and stainless steel per approved procedures.

The ideal candidate is a high school graduate or GED holder, certified in AWS welding or eligible for SSC certification, and a US citizen able to obtain NASA badges. Strong safety practices and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AWS welding certification or eligibility for SSC certification.
• Must be able to read blueprints; basic math skills.
• US citizenship to obtain NASA badge.

Responsibilities

• Welds using arc and TIG methods per drawings.
• Assembles and welds various metals per specifications.
• Reads blueprints and verbal instructions to plan fabrication.
• Sets up and operates welding equipment and safety devices.
• Troubleshoots equipment and ensures quality welding.
• May assist in related craft areas as needed.
