Job summary

Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division, is seeking a skilled Welder to contribute to aerospace manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes high-quality welds, fixture setup, and precise measurement in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

The Welder will read blueprints, operate GTAW/TIG equipment, and support assembly as needed on 1st shift (6:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Thu with alternating Friday).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of welding in the aerospace industry.
• TIG welding experience.
• Must have welding certification or be working toward.
• Read and follow customer specifications and blueprints.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain safety standards and 6S practices.

Responsibilities

• Weld complex assemblies meeting station planning and customer specs.
• Set up weld fixtures and tooling fixtures for welding.
• Use precision measuring tools to meet specs and finish parts.
• Print station planning, record throughput, and complete routers and MO's.
• Maintain safety standards and daily/weekly 6S tasks.
• Keep work area clean and safe per regulations.
• Assist in other department tasks and support assembly as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
