Job summary

Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a Welder to contribute to manufacturing operations on the 1st shift. You will weld complex aerospace assemblies and set up fixtures while adhering to strict customer specifications and quality standards.

The role requires strong GTAW/TIG welding skills, blueprint reading, and a commitment to safety and 6S practices in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Ongoing production support and collaboration with the Production Supervisor are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding in aerospace.
• GTAW/TIG welding experience required.
• Must have welding certification or be working toward.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and station planning.
• Knowledge of precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld complex assemblies to meet station planning and customer specifications.
• Set up weld fixtures and tooling to prepare to weld assemblies.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and finish products.
• Maintain safety standards and 6S routines.
• Read station planning and document throughput accurately.
