Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in aerospace fluid systems design or testing, a B.S. in engineering, and hands-on experience with high‑pressure and cryogenic hardware, valves, and piping.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
• 3+ years experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle fluid system component design or test
• Experience with aerospace fluid systems and components
• Solid understanding of fluid components such as valves, pressure vessels, flex elements and fittings
• Knowledge of fabrication, integration processes and quality control relative to tubes/piping and machined components
• Working knowledge of materials and treatments
• Experience troubleshooting fluids hardware

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, analysis and testing of fluid systems for rockets
• Engage in the full design cycle from concept to flight support
• Author specifications and manage suppliers through flight hardware delivery
• Collaborate with other groups to ensure integrated, risk-managed designs
• Lead and participate in component and system level testing and data analysis
