Job summary

GE Aerospace’s Systems Thermal Analyst role focuses on leading thermal modeling and analysis to drive system architecture that meets customer requirements. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including engineers, designers, and program management to ensure performance requirements are met and test data is accurately interpreted.

The position emphasizes experience with thermal-fluid systems, numerical solvers, and aerospace verification methods, with on-site work in St. George, Utah.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with relevant thermal fluids experience.
• Experience with thermal-fluid systems analysis and modeling including nonlinear solvers and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of aerospace requirements management, verification, and validation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and scripting for modeling.
• Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead thermal modeling and analysis to support system architecture.
• Assess performance requirements and correlate test data with models.
• Coordinate with engineers across disciplines to ensure model accuracy.
• Support program management with risk identification and mitigation.
• Review documentation and transition prototypes to production.
