Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Chemical Process Operator for the 3rd shift to perform thermal coating processes for gas turbine engine components. You will apply coatings, prepare parts, inspect work, and support production while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong shop math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply thermal spray coatings per work instructions and specifications.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, masking, grit blasting, blending, and prep work.
• Monitor coating application processes and verify coating quality.
• Complete inspections and document quality per specs and drawings.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and support production activities.
• Follow safety, quality and 5S requirements and participate in improvements.
