Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, MD invites engineering students to join a collaborative team tackling aerospace and thermal engineering challenges in extreme environments. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong self-starter with good communications skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Eligible for Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real-world aerospace and thermal challenges as part of a team.
• Assist in design challenges of extreme environments including propulsion and thermal protection topics.
