Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
  • Expert in aerodynamics, thermal/fluid modeling, heat transfer, thermochemistry, combustion, hypersonic thermal design, infrared scenes, signatures and related software development.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to aerospace & thermal engineering design and testing for rocket motor systems.
  • Perform aerodynamic and thermal analysis, modeling and simulation of challenging thermal environments.
  • Develop software and algorithms for scene and signature generation and GPU-based simulations.
