Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Kirkland, WA is seeking technicians to support full-scale production of the Leo satellites. You will assemble LRUs and avionics, test to ensure quality, and participate in safety and process improvements.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime on a 2nd shift. Qualifications include 1+ years in a high-traceability manufacturing environment or trade school certification and experience with reading drawings

Qualifications

• 1+ years in high-traceability manufacturing or trade school certification.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds.
• Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
