Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an on-site engineer/technician in Huntington Beach, CA. You will inspect components, read engineering instructions, and set up validation tests to ensure compliance with specifications.

You will collect and analyze testing data, identify improvements for production, and maintain testing methods and equipment. Strong Excel skills and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in engineering technology or related fields.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English fluently.
• Experience using mathematical concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, ratios, fractions, and proportions.
• PLC programming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components before assembly.
• Read and interpret engineering work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Setup and execution of validation tests using engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Record testing data and analyze results to determine whether products meet quality standards.
• Analyze collected data to recommend improvements to the production process.
• Maintain testing methods and equipment.
