Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support engineering, manufacturing, and production teams through test set-up, mechanical assembly, and packaging of hardware.

You will read blueprints and schematics, assist with test setup and execution, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

This role reports to the Technician Supervisor and requires a high school diploma with 2–5 years of aerospace, defense, or manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Basic hand and power tools experience.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Typically 2–5 years of aerospace, defense, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly according to verbal and written instructions
• Support engineering testing and manufacturing efforts
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Assist with test setup and execution
• Assist with packaging and shipping of hardware and equipment
• Observe safety and security procedures, reporting potentially unsafe conditions
