Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Test Systems Engineering Team in Buffalo, NY. You will develop automated test solutions for flight control actuation systems, blending software with hardware integration.

You will work with LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, and Simulink to design, implement, and verify test equipment, supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams and customer demonstrations. This role requires travel and active collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer, Software Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience programming in LabVIEW, Python, C/C++ and/or Simulink.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts across engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for automated aerospace test systems using LabVIEW, Python, C, and Simulink.
• Design, integrate, troubleshoot, and validate test equipment for flight control actuation systems.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineers to optimize test performance.
• Participate in design reviews and support build/integration of test equipment.
• Develop and execute formal verification testing and documentation.
