Job summary

Moog is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Test Systems Engineering Team in Buffalo, NY, hybrid work arrangement. You will develop automated test solutions for flight control actuation systems using LabVIEW, Python, C, and Simulink, while collaborating with cross‑functional engineers to ensure system performance.

You will design, integrate, troubleshoot, and verify test equipment, execute formal verification, and support customer demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience programming in LabVIEW, Python, C/C++ and/or Simulink.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts across teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for automated aerospace test systems using tools such as LabVIEW, Python, C, and Simulink.
• Design, integrate, troubleshoot, and validate test equipment used to verify flight control actuation systems.
• Work with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineers to optimize test system performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
• Deliver customer-ready test systems that meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements.
