Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer to keep aerospace environmental test production running smoothly on our front-line test floor. You will troubleshoot issues on the fly, work with Automated Test Equipment across TVAC, HASS, and thermal chamber testing, and develop Python-based tooling to automate tasks and raise efficiency.

You will collaborate with Development, QA, Manufacturing, and Support teams to maximize rack availability and product quality, and you will roll up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 2+ years in hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace environment.
• 2+ years testing and debugging automated test systems.
• 2+ years working with production test station hardware/software.
• 2+ years experience with electrical test equipment, data acquisition, and control software.
• Experience writing, reading, and debugging Python, C, C#, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first responder to technician escalations during production testing.
• Differentiate test-system faults from DUT faults and drive clear disposition with teams.
• Perform RCCA analysis and implement systemic fixes.
• Manage the support ticket queue and communicate status.
• Develop scripts to automate tasks and improve test stability.
• Analyze downtime and calibration data to drive improvements.
• Define solutions to optimize environmental testing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine test requirements.
• Contribute in a small, specialized team environment.
