Job summary

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division seeks a Test Manufacturing Engineer for its Euclid, OH facility. You will apply robust testing methods, DoE, and root-cause analysis to create cost-effective testing processes for complex aerospace hardware.

Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, collaborating with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability, and improving first-pass yield through data-driven testing, tooling, and standard work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year technical experience in a testing environment.
• Export control restrictions apply; U.S. person status required.
• No relocation assistance; candidates within 50 miles of Euclid, OH preferred.
• Preferred: degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• Experience leading manufacturing in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply test procedures, DoE, cause-and-effect analysis, fishbone diagrams, and 8D problem solving.
• Develop, document, and maintain cost-effective testing processes for products of above-average complexity.
• Manage multiple projects across complex work teams.
• Interact with Design Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability.
• Design, develop, and implement efficient testing procedures to improve yield and data collection.
• Support tooling and equipment requirements and time standards.
