Job summary

Stoke Space is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for our Moses Lake test facility to design and build test-site infrastructure across civil, structural, electrical and other disciplines. You will manage projects, budgets, and vendors while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to keep testing on schedule, drive constructability reviews, and support permitting. Relocation to Moses Lake, WA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, construction management, or similar field.
• 4+ years of experience in a related role performing engineering, design/build, and management of critical infrastructure projects in aerospace or similar high-performance applications.
• Experience with heavy-civil structural engineering and construction, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, mass earthwork.
• Project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, procurement, contracts, cost estimation, value engineering, and field execution.
• Willing to relocate to Moses Lake, WA and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal engineering projects and contracted firms to design and upgrade test site infrastructure across civil, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Oversee budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leverage field experience to drive design decisions for construction and future operations.
• Conduct constructability reviews and value engineering to optimize construction efficiency and cost.
• Direct and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and on-site vendors.
• Oversee quality control inspections, material testing, and safety compliance.
• Develop and execute project scope, RFPs, awards, construction management, and activation for facilities.
• Support permitting coordination with required agencies.
• Maintain as-built documentation, track punch lists, and manage closeout.
• Maintain project execution quality and safety compliance.
