Job summary

Stoke Space seeks an Infrastructure Engineer for our Moses Lake test facility to rapidly design and build test site infrastructure. You'll collaborate with engineers to manage civil, structural, electrical systems and help maintain reliable operations so testing is uninterrupted.

Role requires 4+ years in related infrastructure projects, strong project management, and the ability to lead teams while adapting quickly. Relocation to Moses Lake, WA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, construction management, or similar field (required).
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, design/build and management of critical infrastructure projects in aerospace or similar high-performance applications.
• Strong understanding of heavy-civil structural engineering and construction, including steel, concrete, foundations, mass earthwork.
• Experience with project management fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and contracts.
• Experience executing large capital projects with economical, expedient solutions.
• Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC/FBC, AISC, ACI, NFPA, ASTM, ASME standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead and work autonomously.
• Willingness to relocate to Moses Lake, WA and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal engineering projects and contractors to design and upgrade test site infrastructure across civil, structural, electrical and other disciplines.
• Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting; manage change orders and cost control.
• Use field experience to guide design for construction and future operations.
• Conduct constructability reviews and value engineering for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Direct and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and field staff on site.
• Oversee quality control inspections and safety compliance per project specs.
