Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Aerospace Test Engineer to perform testing and validation of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems. The role involves developing, executing, and documenting test procedures for flight-critical products, including ducting assemblies and related components.

The position is based on the manufacturing floor in Simi Valley, CA, with an 8-hour first shift. 3–5+ years in testing/validation is preferred, and experience with data acquisition and GD&T is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• 3–5+ years in testing/validation in aerospace/manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with GD&T and aerospace documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures per drawings, specs, and requirements.
• Perform functional, environmental, and qualification testing on components and assemblies.
• Set up test equipment, data acquisition, and instrumentation to evaluate performance.
• Interpret drawings and specs to ensure proper test execution.
• Collect, record, and analyze test data to verify conformance.
