Job summary

TRIUMPH Systems, Electronics and Controls in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and maintain equipment that tests electronic engine control units for aerospace. You will manage ATE projects, design hardware/software solutions, and produce test plans and documentation.

The role requires experience with LabVIEW, C++, and MIL-STD/DO-160 style testing, with travel up to 5-10% and a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or systems engineering.
• Experience with electronic manufacturing processes and automated test systems.
• Ability to design creative electronic hardware/software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain equipment used to test the functionality of electronic engine control units for the aerospace industry.
• Manage Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) development projects from conception through implementation.
• Write test plans, procedures and reports based on industry standards.
