Job summary

Triumph Group in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and maintain equipment for testing electronic engine control units for aerospace applications. The role includes managing ATE development from conception through implementation, and delivering hardware/software solutions.

You will design, develop, debug, and validate test equipment, write procedures, and ensure documentation. Travel is 5–10% and ITAR compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering is required.
• Significant experience with automated test systems and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Experience with MIL-STD 810, MIL-STD 461, DO-160 and environmental testing.
• Ability to design creative hardware/software solutions and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain equipment to test electronic engine control units for aerospace.
• Manage ATE development projects from conception to implementation.
• Design, develop, debug, validate, and verify manual and automated test equipment.
• Write test plans, procedures, and reports based on industry standards.
• Provide product line support and maintenance for test systems.
