Job summary

TEST-FUCHS in Brecksville, Ohio, develops aerospace test equipment and software for civil and military applications. The role involves translating customer requirements into software concepts, and creating test sequences for our standard software on aerospace test equipment.

You will commission, test, and troubleshoot software while ensuring data integrity and alignment with customer needs, collaborating with the support team to service requirements and improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering, Electrical-/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years on‑the‑job experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Mechatronics / Automation solutions.
• Strong software affinity and willingness to work on real equipment.
• Experience in PLC development and NI TestStand preferred.
• Ideal good understanding of electrics, pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical systems - Automation Technology.
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Interested to be on the product and managing code in interaction with real equipment and process.
• Motivated, self-directed and comfortable to work on real equipment.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements to software solutions/concepts from concepts to planning and realization to testing, consider customer to requirements
• Development of Software solutions and software programs for Test-Systems → Realize Test-Sequences in our Standard Software
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment
• Ensure data integrity, change management and compliance with customer requirements
• Cooperate with customer support team for handling customer support/service needs
