Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant academic or project experience in test development or lab environments.
• Familiarity with bug reports and root-cause analysis (academic or project-based).
• Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming (C# or LabVIEW a plus).
• Basic understanding of debugging and troubleshooting processes.
• Ability to estimate cost or development time based on project requirements.
• General knowledge of mechanical/electrical design principles and test instrumentation.
• Basic understanding of writing and executing test specifications.
• Awareness of manual and automated testing methodologies across product development stages.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, deployment, and upgrade of test equipment for PCBAs, subsystems, and AV systems.
• Support C# / OOP software development using Visual Studio.
• Develop test software programs in C#.
• Collaborate to create test plans, gather requirements, and set test strategies.
• Analyze, process, and format test results per standards.
• Help meet project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Support cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.
• Provide feedback to design teams on testability.
• Develop test cases for power conversion devices, motor control, and avionics.
• Execute functional and performance tests on avionics components under supervision.
• Learn AV engineering concepts and procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Work on limited-scope problems with mentorship.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
