Job summary

You will apply Air Force processes, integrate hardware and software, and perform testing and evaluation. You will collaborate with senior staff to plan, document, and verify integration activities, traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in aerospace, electrical, or systems engineering with 3–10 years' experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Active Top Secret clearance eligibility within five years and SAP access.
• Experience with avionics, subsystems, or weapon systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply Air Force system engineering processes to interpret warfighter needs within cost and schedule.
• Evaluate risks and optimize performance for subsystem integration.
• Provide technical analysis and risk assessments to senior leadership.
• Support RDT&E and sustainment activities for aircraft platforms and armament systems.
• Review interoperability requirements and ensure electrical/ICD compatibility.
• Translate warfighter requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Prepare documentation for MIL-HDBK-516 and safety packages.
• Travel up to 25% to support program activities.
