RTX in Marlborough, MA seeks motivated Systems Engineering interns/co-ops. This onsite role integrates hardware and software, conducts test plans, debugs and evaluates system functions, and supports product lifecycle activities.

Qualified students must pursue a STEM degree, have at least 60 credit hours, and be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance. The role offers hands-on experience in a defense tech environment with travel up to 20%.

Formación

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Responsabilidades

• Support engineering activities related to testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software
• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
• System integration and test support, possibly including live fire test events
• Support activity may require travel
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
• Support qualification of our products
• Sustainment/Depot returns and repair
• Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) & drawing (Schematics & Assembly Drawings)
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders
• Maintain engineering databases
• Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconference meetings, working group meetings
