Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA is seeking a systems engineer intern, co-op, or entry‑level candidate to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline. You will help integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, debug interfaces, and verify system requirements as part of final customer sell-off.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) by start date.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities related to testing and troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system.
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes.
• System integration and test support, possibly including live fire test events; travel may be required.
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools like MATLAB.
• Support qualification of products and sustainment/Depot returns and repair.
• Maintain engineering specifications and drawings; prepare and present results in reports and briefings.
• Maintain engineering databases and participate in team meetings.
