Job summary

RTX in Melbourne, FL seeks students pursuing degrees in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering for an internship/co-op. You will join an integrated product team, gain hands-on experience across requirements, systems architecture, testing, and data analysis.

This role offers exposure to avionics CNS products and collaboration with industry experts, with on-site work and opportunities to contribute to real programs within RTX's aerospace and defense portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an integrated product team and support design, integration, verification and validation of avionics CNS products.
• Actively work in full product development lifecycle activities and gain hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis.
• Assist in documentation of engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
