AV is actively seeking Systems Engineers to work onsite at Albuquerque, NM or Germantown, MD. You'll contribute to development, integration, verification, and deployment of advanced aerospace and defense systems.

Roles vary by experience level; responsibilities include requirements development, system architecture, verification, integration, and project leadership as needed. Occasional travel to field sites may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, an engineering discipline, physics, or a related technical field.
• Experience in systems engineering, requirements development and management, system integration, verification, validation, or test; level determined by qualifications and experience.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes, requirements traceability, and verification methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop requirements, test plans, verification methods, and technical documentation.
• Experience analyzing technical data, resolving system-level issues, and communicating conclusions and recommendations.

Responsabilidades

• Capture, develop, decompose, allocate, and manage customer, system, subsystem, and product requirements using requirements-management tools.
• Collaborate with program management, chief engineers, and functional engineering leads to translate customer needs into verifiable technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability, interface documentation, specifications, and other technical data.
• Develop system architectures, interfaces, and lower-level requirements with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Develop and support verification and validation strategies, plans, procedures, and methods.
• Support system integration, functional testing, qualification, and acceptance testing.
• Analyze test data and support closure of verification and validation activities.
• Participate in technical reviews and risk management.
