Collins Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer (P2) to support SEIT projects in Colorado Springs. You will work across engineering, program management, operations and other teams through all lifecycle phases, under the systems engineering lead. Sign-on bonus eligible.

The role emphasizes MBSE, requirements flow-down, and collaboration with suppliers, regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure robust system solutions.

Formación

• Experience as a technical systems engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with aerospace/defense hardware products.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle processes (requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, validation).
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize robust Systems Engineering practices in support of projects assigned.
• Support development and flow down of system requirements to vendors.
• Perform requirements decomposition from system to subsystems.
• Perform requirements traceability across the system to identify orphaned requirements.
• Perform MBSE analyses using Enterprise Architect for system trades and analyses.
• Create and maintain Requirements Compliance and Verification matrices.
• Capture project and product requirements in Jama.
• Verify requirements through review of I&T plans and reports; prepare similarity reports.
• Participate in peer reviews throughout design, development, integration, and flight test requirements verification.
• Cross-train to support test engineering during test execution.
• Receive mentorship to grow as a systems engineer.
