Job summary

Crescent Systems, Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to contribute to our system development and engineering efforts.

You will work on aerospace projects from proposal to deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of system requirements. Responsibilities include defining and modeling systems, decomposing requirements, allocating them to elements, and supporting MBSE practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related experience.
• Experience with JAMA requirements management software.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering and Cameo.
• Current Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• System definition and modeling (requirements, structure, behavior, traceability).
• Documenting and decomposing system, subsystem, and component requirements.
• Allocating requirements to system elements and functions.
• Analyzing requirements traceability and verification.
• Reconciling requirements conflicts, ambiguities, or gaps.
• Preparing system design documents and presentations.
• Collaborating with engineering, system architects, and leadership.
• Reviewing designs and documents to ensure requirements are satisfied.
• Estimating material and labor costs.
