Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an onsite entry-level engineer in Massachusetts/New Hampshire to support testing, troubleshoot system issues, and drive integration across disciplines. You will work with hardware and software in field test environments and document results for leadership.

The role requires a Master’s in STEM and prior experience documenting test plans and procedures, with the potential for travel up to 15% to RTX facilities and sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support testing effort: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging.
• Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Modeling and Analysis: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware in the loop environments, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations occurring primarily during first shift and part time section shift hours.
