Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Hardware Engineer II to design and develop hardware systems for aerospace applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, capture schematics, and layout PCBs, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

You will report to the Sr. Engineering Manager at the Phoenix, AZ site and operate on a Hybrid schedule, with 90 days onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• 2+ years hardware design experience, preferably aerospace.
• Familiarity with aerospace hardware standards and PCB layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Refine hardware requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Support hardware testing and validation for performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot design issues.
• Stay current with emerging hardware technologies.
