Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the development and management of system requirements and verification strategies. You will translate customer needs into detailed subsystem requirements, maintain traceability, and coordinate test activities across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in aerospace/defense, with hands-on experience in mechanical/electronic systems and qualification testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or aerospace/mechanical engineering required.
• 2–5 years aerospace/defense experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical systems, electronics, system integration and qualification testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system requirements using CAMEO and DOORS and ensure traceability throughout product lifecycle.
• Lead requirements definition, analysis and decomposition activities for subsystem requirements.
• Develop and maintain Validation and Verification matrices for comprehensive coverage.
• Plan and coordinate verification and testing activities including test strategies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability from system to subsystems.
• Support preparation of engineering reports and interface control documents.
