Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and maintain system requirements, establish traceability, and lead V&V planning across aerospace and defense programs. You will translate customer needs into subsystem requirements, drive verification activities, and balance design, analysis, and testing to ensure robust system performance.

The role requires a STEM degree and 2–5 years of related experience, with hands-on use of CAMEO and DOORS. US Persons only.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
2–5 years aerospace/defense experience.
Experience with mechanical systems, electronics, cabling, integration, and testing.
Knowledge of structural analysis, FEA, dynamics, and materials.
US Persons (citizens or permanent residents).

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and maintain system requirements with traceability.
Lead requirements definition and decomposition to subsystems.
Create and maintain V&V matrices for full coverage.
Plan and coordinate verification and tests, including strategies and procedures.
Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability across levels.
Balance design, analysis, and testing to ensure robust performance.
Prepare engineering reports and interface control documents.
