Job summary

Kronos Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer in the Propulsion Control Systems group to design, develop, and integrate complex control systems for gas turbine engines and aerospace applications. You will work on ECUs, APUs, and cabin pressure systems, collaborating across cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and drive program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering, or related field.
• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or have other protected status per Export Control regulations.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production support cases for aerospace control systems and ECUs.
• Develop and release Engineering Change Notices to support design and manufacturing needs.
• Perform evaluations and substantiation of design changes for production and factory support.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize and distribute production support workloads.
• Coordinate with Component, Materials, Mechanical, Certification, Test Services, CM, and Data Management teams to drive issue resolution.
• Review and maintain source drawings and build-to-print documentation.
• Ensure supplier designs comply with engineering standards and governing requirements.
• Reconcile product-level requirements with customer and system-level requirements.
• Support integration of components into aerospace systems and document changes.
• Participate in configuration management and obsolescence management.
