Blue Origin is seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer to design, implement, and integrate the overall systems infrastructure. You will work on hardware, software, and configurations, collaborating with teams to improve processes and deliverables.

The role includes system definition, tests, integration, safety, and verification across fluid, mechanical, propulsion, and electrical domains. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2027.
• Experience with Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering on complex systems.
• Breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks and concisely communicating project status.
• Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience demonstrating technical skills and leadership.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset.

Responsibilities

• Based upon your desired career path, projects may include system definition, system test, system integration, system safety, operations and system verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.
• Decompose internal customer requirements into test system requirements specifications with bi-directional traceability.
• Develop and manage interfaces through ICDs and drawings.
• Lead and present at major gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) on system readiness and status of SE deliverables.
• Own the verification and validation planning, traceability and completion through test plan creation and TRRs.
