Job summary

GE Aerospace is offering an internship/co-op in Aerospace Systems & Defense in Grand Rapids, MI. You will build professional and technical skills through challenging, real-world problems to design aerospace systems for commercial and military applications and support through service life.

You will gain broad exposure to engineering from design to hands-on work, with potential for a full-time position after graduation.

Qualifications

• GE Aerospace intern experience required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited engineering program (Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science).
• Willingness and ability to work in the United States; locations Grand Rapids, MI and Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of engine controls, navigation, and guidance systems; gas turbine components; electrical power systems; mechanical systems; health and data management systems; mission systems and computing systems.
• Engage in design, analysis, development, testing, and software requirements writing; software testing and simulation; tool development and program support.
