Job summary

GE Aerospace internship/co-op programs offer hands-on experience in aerospace systems for commercial and military applications. You’ll work on engine controls, navigation, and platform systems, with opportunities to design, analyze, test, and develop software requirements and tools.

Applicants should be enrolled full-time in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and be a US citizen eligible to work in the United States. Primary location is Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• GE Aerospace intern experience required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled full-time in an engineering program (Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace).

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of engine controls, navigation, and guidance systems; gas turbine engine components; electrical/power systems; mechanical systems; vehicle health & data management; mission systems; computer systems; and platform integration.
• Contribute to design, analysis, development, testing, and verification; write software requirements; perform software testing and simulations; develop tools and provide program support.

Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering degree
