Job summary

GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an internship/co-op to develop aerospace systems and software for defense and commercial programs. You’ll gain hands-on experience across design, analysis, and testing, while building relationships with mentors and leaders to prepare for a potential full-time role after graduation.

You will work on aerospace subsystems, engage in software requirements, testing, and tool development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or higher.
• Enrolled full-time in an accredited engineering program (Electrical, Computer, or related).
• US Citizenship is required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of aerospace subsystems (engine controls, navigation, guidance).
• Perform analysis, development, and testing of aerospace components and systems.
• Assist in software requirements writing and software testing activities.
• Support simulation, tooling development and product/program support tasks.
• Engage in system integration and data management activities.
• Collaborate with mentors and project teams to progress toward a full-time opportunity.
