Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks interns or co-op students to help invent the future of flight and gain hands-on experience in aerospace systems for commercial and military applications. The program offers exposure across design, analysis, and hands-on work with engines, controls, and platforms, with a path toward full-time opportunities after graduation.

You will build professional and technical skills in engineering roles, work with leaders, and be considered for a potential direct hire or leadership

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0).
• Full-time matriculated engineering student in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace engineering.
• Willingness to work in the United States; Dayton, OH or Bohemia, NY locations.
• Relocation and housing assistance available for those who relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop engine controls, navigation and guidance systems; gas turbine engine components; electrical power systems; mechanical systems; vehicle health and data management systems; mission systems; computing systems; and platform integration.
• Design, analysis, development, and testing; write software requirements; perform software testing; conduct simulation; develop tools; provide product/program support.
