Job summary

AscendArc is seeking a Supply Chain Lead in Beaverton to own end-to-end supply chain activities for a space-focused program. You will negotiate complex aerospace contracts, build a scalable function, and collaborate closely with engineering and production to translate designs into buildable hardware.

We value self-starters with 7+ years in supply chain or hardware ops, experience in space or defense; lean sourcing and ERP/MRP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven record negotiating complex aerospace hardware contracts.
• Track record building supply chain processes from scratch.
• 7+ years in supply chain, procurement, or hardware operations.
• Experience with space-qualified or high-reliability hardware supply chains.
• Fluency in lean supply chain and strategic sourcing.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience and BOM data management.
• Excellent cross-organizational communication.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and work hands-on.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR obligations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain: strategy, sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier management.
• Negotiate aerospace supply agreements across low-volume/high-value to high-volume/low-value parts.
• Lead supplier sourcing and qualification, focusing on long-lead items.
• Apply lean principles: optimize inventory and sourcing strategies by part criticality.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to translate designs into buildable hardware.
• Drive material alignment to program milestones to avoid delays.
• Own procurement, inventory, and BOM data in NetSuite and MES integration.
• Stand up supply chain processes aligned with AS9100-like practices and counterfeit parts avoidance.
• Execute export compliance in procurement, including ITAR/EAR flow-downs.
